My dream classroom/workspace

A plan or sketch of a classroom / workspace / office that would best meet all the needs of users and give them optimal opportunities for work and development.
Participants think about their ideal workspace and create a scheme or plan for it. Using this activity you can collect feedback on: the teaching and learning activities in general, how the group works together (group dynamics), which are the activities participants prefer, which activities to improve…

Tools

  • A4 or A3 paper size.
  • Color.
  • Greeting cards.

Steps

  • Facilitator asks participants to create a sketch / blueprint / drawing of their dream classroom / office
  • Following the work done, sketch / blueprint reporting follows.

Tips

  • They can also make their dream classroom / office in 3D with the help of waste material (boxes, sleeves, stoppers, tetra packs…).
  • As a facilitator, encourage participants to be creative.
  • Support discussion about the group dynamics.
